The Sith have to find out the importance of Hoth first. The spy has been captured, Agon is trying to find out why HK is on board an undesignated ship (although he doesn't know it's HK yet), Maleficus is being 'interrogated' by Derja, and Piscis is fretting over the Jedi on Correllia. Finally, Vici is off on a wild goose chase on Naboo, looking for Derja
Frankly, I think we need more characters. Getting new members is our first priority, but if members can make other characters, that's good too.
As for plot ideas, eventually, the Republic and Sith will have a showdown. That is inevitable. But for now, Maleficus will execute Jon and his friend (once he gets away from Korriban), unless the republic breaks him out, as I assume they will.

this is totally off that, but how about that one of the navies stumble across a secret clone army? on kamino or soething? and now the navies are fighting for controle of the army

Alright, now that we seem to have started over, here's how we stand on the plot.
Shadow Master Derja is fighting Genzal-Vong on Tatooine.
Ishman and Dan Zorko are on their way to Hapes.
Grand Admiral Piscis Vir, Moff Agon Domino, and their troops are preparing to attack Hapes.
Lanzhou Urumqi has gotten into a firefight on Corellia with Ajak Solo.
Captain Nester Solo and Grand Admiral Jon Tarkin are networking on something.

(sorry for double posting)
I was sitting here, thinking to myself, the Republic is back and the Empire is back as well, not to mention a couple other factions I haven't heard of. But what if a new driod army rose? WIth new better droids, but not with the intent of taking over, but... I don't know what would modivate a Droid, but a new army would be something wouldn't it?

If you could find something to motivate the droid army, then I see no reason why we couldn't add a faction. Though the decision is ultimately up to Jon.
