Currently, there can be no droid army, the creator of the droid army was destroyed, and the key leaders were destroyed as well, plus the factories were either blasted into a million bits, or were taken over by one of the factions. Untill someone makes a droid humanoid type character, maybe like Grevious was. We're stuck with a big mess.

I got an idea for a droid army, but not the lameass one from the Prequel Trilogy. Please note the following paragraph is fictional and all my idea:
During the height of the Clone Wars, the CIS leaders were beginning construction on a prototype assassin droid, specialised in stealth, recon, Jedi-combat, and heavy assault weaponry. Other versions were constructed for hacking, space combat, etc. The first and only prototype, FX-001, was used during the Outer Rim Seiges, and by assassinating four Jedi Generals in the battle, turned the tide of the particular battle in CIS favour. He was next deployed to assassinate Master Yoda in the Battle of Kashyyyk, but despite all his advanced equipment, was defeated by two Clone Jet Troopers.
He was left for wreckage and washed out with the tide, floating in the small sea area of Kashyyyk, eventually beached, and through various animal encounters whilst being deactivated, ended up near the edge of the Shadowlands. It's self-monitoring system has been self-repairing the model slowly until it was good enough to be self-reactivated. This was in the year 70 ABY.
Until now, it has been travelling around the galaxy, until recently finding the factory it came out of, a remote factory on none other than Geonosis. FX-001 has kick-started production, resulting in a company (100) droids being produced under his (although a droid, he regards himself as a male) command, and seek to expand in their conquest of revenge at the death of their CIS masters.
FX-001 would be the Faction Leader. I'd like to be it but I'd understand if the staff thought it appropriate for someone else to be it. The droid is basicly very good at stealth and recon, although it can handle any kind of weapon (besides lightsabers), as well as two inbuilt flame-throwers, one in-built carbonite projector and two wrist repeater guns. Also an inbuilt jetpack.
How's that for a droid army idea?
EDIT: Changed the year ABY to make sense with this site's timeline. Also, the production rate would be slow as FX-001 has to do it secretly and he only has so many resources at one time.

Thats fine with me you need a name for the faction. But it wont be a faction until later on. It will nedd two other droids and then it can become a faction.

No, I have one problem with that plan.
Unless it was a cyborg (like Greivous), when it was re activated, it would continue to search for Yoda. It would follow it's programming.

Since Jon asked me to elaborate in a PM I replyed with a PM....I was gone for the weekend and I must say, thats a very good idea, but I agree wit IT-09 here, unless it was a cyborg when it was reactivated, it would move to complete the mission, as is its programming, then if and when it found that Yoda was dead already, it would go into a sort of standby mode and wait for more orders.

I have just Pmed an admin if i could have my own faction, but as i saw this i thought that we could put the Droid Faction and the faction i have in mind together. You with the know how and me with the resources. So we would be like partners.
