Gathering the Senate - Coruscant

[Senator Kopf Jinn]

Senator Kopf Jinn rose as his platform in the senate room detached from the wall and flew to the centre of the large chamber. He took a deep breath, then launched into his speech.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and other representatives of the Galactic Senate. As you likely know, Hapes was recently attacked and conquered by the Galactic Empire. A very large number of Republic soldiers lost their lives to try and protect it. I ask you, faces of your people, can we justify this bloodshed? I say not! We must stop these actions before a full scale war erupts on our hands. Who's with me?" he shouted the last three words, hoping he could rouse the dormant senate.

Cacey Jones - Senator of Corellia

Many Senators clapped their hands, they did not want another war but Cacey did, war would bring Corellia credits and credits would help their economy, which had crumbled after the Trade War. The President had ordered him to help make Corellia profits and thats what he was going to do.

"But Senator how do you propose we stop the war?" Kacey asked as the Seante chamber fell silent.

Senator Jinn looked the representative from Corellia carefully. Of course they would want war. Corellia's biggest export was starships.

"Ah Senator, there is no war yet. These skirmishes have not yet culminated into a full scale war just yet. What I am suggesting is caution, so that a war may be avoided." he said calmly.

Senator Lara Razor - Bespin.

"The last thing we need is another full scale war" the Seantor cried "We cannot allow history to repeat its self we have promised war will not happen many times, but does that stop it?"

Kopf gestured at Senator Razor, then turned to Senator Jones with a triumphant grin. It felt good to have support.

"That is exactly what I mean!" he declared happily. "We are too fragile at this point to risk war with the Sith!"
