"Sirs" she said looking at the two Admirals "I suggest I go in with her, that way she won't be on her own and we will be able to provide support to each other" Leyla looked over at her ex-husband James she had ignored him when he spoke before but it was clear they still loved each other, but duty came first.

Alicia turned to Leyla, she wanted nothing to do with this girl on her mission, she didn't hate this girl. For that was not the jedi way, but there was a strong dislike between the two. "I suggest, that I go in alone. If she screw's up, than I will have to blow my cover and save her! If I was to go alone, we wouldn't have the risk factor or the problem factor between the two of us working together, however. You could send her in for her own mission, that way if they capture her, they will think they've taken out the Republic's spy. Leaving me to do the rest of my job without anyone riding on my tail, and I could still save her at the end if she hasn't gotten out by then." Alicia would almost say anything, to not have the two of them working side by side, she wasn't exactly a loner, but having another girl who argued with her, would be a real pain in her back side.

Gorrhnak shook his head again, and growled at Leyla.
"If it were any other officer, I would agree. But Commander Kenobi is dead set against having you with her. A partnership like that will only bring trouble."
He knew that Alicia probably could use a helping hand, but also knew that she would never agree to it

Nester turned her attnetion to Leyla, that was a pot shot insult and wasn't needed. "That's enough, Leyla. You will go as your own spy, take backup with you if need be, she's a jedi and i'm sure she doesn't need the extra weight on her shoulders, I would like to agree that we have strength in numbers, but i've watched past records of the Kenobi family line, Ben-Kenobi in his younger days, had only one man by his side and that was a skywalker. Other than that, the Kenobi's are known for making the right choices and being strong fighters. And from the argueing i'm seeing from both of you, I'd think it'd be the same with you on a team and that, would never do."

Lanzhou nodded, taking another gulp of his ale.
"I'm going to agree with fuzzy over there. This breif meeting Commander Kenobi, light of my life, has proven to me that you really don't work well with others. Forcing you to travel with a companion you obviously loathe would not turn out good results. Better you go on your own Commander, my shimmering jewel." he added in the little come ons, if they could be called that, in the most airy voice he could muster, but a touch of amusement always seemed to betray him.

Gorrhnak snarled dangerously at Lanzhou. No need for him to be hitting on his officers, even if he had no hope of succeeding.
"So we are aware of the plan. Commander Kenobi is to infiltrate the Imperial ranks, and learn whatever she can. No one is to contact her while she is undercover." he looked pointedly at Captain Smith. "Smith, I am greatly opposed to you accompanying the commander. However, an extra set of eyes and ears wouldn't go amiss." he gave her the smallest wink. He needed to build up trust with the troops, and he thought this would be a good start.

Lanzhou finished off his ale, and stood up.
"Sounds good fuzzy. I'll poke around and see what I can dig up. I'll be in touch." he nodded at the Wookiee Admiral, and walked toward the door.
He paused as he passed Alicia and let a hand rest on her shoulder, "Watch yourself.' he whispered sincerely, squeezing her shoulder slightly. Then he was gone, his gunship taking off for god knows where.
