Commander Zerk stood in the bridge of his ship the Repentent. He looked about as the bridge crew lazily worked at theri stations. Always so boring here. He shook his head at the thought. "I want a full inspection of the ships systems and weapons checks, I also want a head count." The crew men all nodded and began carrying out his orders.

Post by Admiral Nester Solo on May 15, 2007 1:38:40 GMT
Nester and his men pulled into the Republic friendly space, still gloom from the battle they had just lost, It was confusing as to how they lost, they were being told to pull back. When he knew his crew and himself could've destroyed that flagship, he crossed his arms and watched as hologram of Tarkin played on his console, being a delayed message of how he was promoted and Jon was giving up his title, this was indeed a sad day, that his mentor was giving up his title.
Nester sent out a holo-gram message to the ships around him, trying to get a mass reply of where he was needed. "This is Cap... Erm, Admiral Nester Solo, I would like to know where i'm needed of this moment, my crew and I have just came back from the battle of Hapes." He said through the hologram, smacking the recorder button to turn it off, as he waited for the replies to come rolling in.

Commander Felincul stood in the bridge of the Fenris, checking the status readouts of the ship and crew. 89% of her fighters managed to survive the battle of Hapes and her ship was in good condition. "Ensign, make a list of the dead. I want a full assesment of the damaged and destroyed craft immidiatly, I want every thing ready for the next battle." When ever that will be. Felincul sighed. We could have won! "Commander, assesment ready of all craft ready." Felincul closed her eyes for an instant. "send it to my quarters along with that list." "Yes ma'am." Felincul walked out of the bridge and made her way to her quarters.

Post by Grand Admiral Gorrhnak on May 15, 2007 22:32:40 GMT
Grand Admiral Gorrhnak stared blankly into empty space. He had failed. Deep down, he knew that they would have been torn apart if they hadn't left, but he still felt like kinrath fodder. Admiral Solo's transmission jerked him back to reality.
"Admiral, you are to report to the War Room with the other admirals. We may have lost the battle, but the Empire will strike again, and we need to know where." B-3PO translated.
He steered towards HQ, and had a brainwave. They would need someone with connections to help them find the imperials. He put in a transmission to his old contact Lanzhou Urumqi.
"Lanzhou. You heard about Hapes I presume? Well we need some help. I'm sure the Empire is planning more attacks. We need someone with your...connections...to see what you can dig up. You are to report to the Republic War Room on Coruscant as soon as possible." B-3PO translated Gorrhnak's incoherent growling.

Luckily, Lanzhou wasn't in the middle of a job when Gorrhnak gave him the call. Even luckier, he happened to be passing through the Alsakan system.
"Right-o bossman, I'll be right over." he said with little enthusiasm.
A few minutes later, he was touching down his Dornean gunship onto a landing pad, and striding into the Republic base. He pulled his robe onto his shoulders as he walked. He doubted the uptight nuts of Coruscant would care for his bare chest.
We marched into the War Room, having been cleared by the Grand Admiral himself, and sat down and waited for everyone else.

Nester dropping down onto a couple free landing pads, and they ejected from their fighters, they came into a small circle and bowed their heads. Each of the members gave a prayer to the others, and they shook hands before breaking off the circle, they parted their seperate ways, and Nester headed off towards the war room.
Nester pulled into the war room, his war helmet being put between his left palm and left hip, he looked between all of them and raised an eyebrow. "Hello there everyone, If we need help in this war, I have a short little green friend with that Ghost order, or something along those lines. But anyway, he's an ex-jedi who keeps the peace or something like that." He told the room, placing his helmet on the table.

Lanzhou cocked an eyebrow. Since when did peace-keepers help out the good guys? "You're buttier than your brother Solo." Lanzhou called out, "Guys like that are only interested in 'balance.' They wouldn't help us out, unless they did something equally nice to the Empire."
He was bored, so he started spinning one of his blasters in his hand. With the safeties on of course. No need to give the war room a new air vent

Gorrhnak glared at Nester and Lanzhou.
"Settle down you two, we're on the same side here."
Ignoring what might have been a derisive snort from the Kel Dor, Gorrhnak growled again.
"The Empire has Hapes. We don't have the resources to take it back, unless we can destroy the Empire itself. History has shown us that Galactic Empires always want more. Any ideas on where they might strike next?" he asked the assembled officers. And Lanzhou.

James stood at the back of the room, he had recently been promoted to Captain. James had decieded to leave it to the Admirals to decide what to do about the Imperials but he decieded to say something.
"I think the Imperials will attack worlds with no importance that are just going to be used to set up bases so taht they can attack Courscant with one swifta ttack ctaching us off gaurd. So I think their most likely planet to attack is Kuat"

Lanzhou chuckled. "I like you kid, you're almost too green to be allowed." he stopped chuckling. "The Empire chooses it's worlds based on strategic importance. This is experience talking. Six years of smuggling has taught me that Kuat has nothing of importance. Plus, it's a core world. Even if your plan is right, the Emperor wouldn't start off his sweep of the galaxy with a core world. It makes no sense kid."
