Skin and banners are totally different thing. Skins require people to do the coding and be of good taste. Banners require someone half-decent with Photoshop.

So what your saying is that for the skin you are ripping a background? For a good skin you must have a background as well, and ripping isn't very cool... Other than that I know! I am skilled with photoshop and I own a proboard so yeah.
(Don't take the tone the wrong way, it wasn't a mean or rude tone.)

No, I'm not ripping a background. That's crap. I'm saying you can either pick one colour and have that, or you can can create one from scratch.
I suppose I could do the latter but I'm bad at all the rest of the skin stuff so I wouldn't be good for it.
The best background isn't a pic, but one or two colours in my opinion. But that could just be me.
